Narrative:
Brian Zagon represents clients in both the insurance coverage and securities/brokerage practice areas and has been selected by his peers as one of Northern California 2006 Super Lawyers in Securities Litigation. He supervises and handles environmental insurance and bad faith litigation on behalf of policyholders. For investors Mr. Zagon manages disputes with stockbrokers and brokerage firms, including churning, unauthorized trading, suitability and other issues.
He has been representing clients in securities arbitration proceedings and insurance coverage litigation since 1989. His work has resulted in millions of dollars in recoveries for Resolution Law Group clients in the securities and insurance coverage areas, including a $3.9 million arbitration award for an investor client against one of the largest national brokerage houses.
Prior to joining Resolution Law Group in 1998, Mr. Zagon represented numerous major brokerage houses as a partner at a national law firm. He handled and supervised the defense of many investor cases in litigation and arbitration. He also worked on securities regulatory matters and class actions involving market manipulation and initial public offerings.
