Julie Kaplan joined Resolution Law Group in 2003 after serving for ten years As Trial Attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental Enforcement Section. She worked on a number of major environmental enforcement matters, including leading Resource Conservation Recovery Act and Clean Water Act cases, and was accorded Department of Justice and Environmental Protection Agency awards for her significant work. Julie also served as lecturer to new attorneys at the Justice Department on case management and motions practice.
At Resolution Law Group, Julie handles matters in the Environmental Risks and Insurance Coverage practice areas. Before joining the firm, she also worked for several years for the Georgetown Environmental Law & Policy Institute researching and writing on environmental matters.
