Philip Hunsucker’s vision when he founded Resolution Law Group P.C. in 1996 was to form a law firm dedicated to comprehensive and creative solutions to clients’ problems. According to Mr. Hunsucker, “Although the firm does both defense and plaintiff work, it has a plaintiff’s mentality, which requires a strategic plan and a singular focus on what is most important to achieve client goals. The ultimate goal is to bring cases to the point of resolution as soon as possible with the most favorable financial result possible for our clients.”
Mr. Hunsucker is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the firm. He focuses on planning and implementing strategies that resolve difficult problems, while finding ways to bring dollars from outside sources into the process to enhance the client’s financial picture. These outside sources include both insurance and non-insurance assets. At the firm, he has been the lead lawyer in environmental, toxic tort litigation, and insurance and “bad faith” litigation.
Mr. Hunsucker has prepared and tried jury cases to conclusion in state and federal courts around the United States. Before forming the firm, Mr. Hunsucker represented clients in complex multi-party environmental and insurance litigation while a senior partner at the San Francisco office of a national law firm. He also practiced in Dallas, Texas where he was engaged in disaster litigation, as well as insurance coverage matters.
Mr. Hunsucker gained substantial trial experience while serving in the United States Army Judge Advocate General’s Corps.
